Hey guys.

Last night was the windiest night ever. It was blowing a gale and the trees sounded like they were going to break.
Today we went to the Governor's house, the South Australian Art Gallery, and St Peter's Cathedral.
First we went to the Cathedral, it was a massive building, but it didn't look as big on the inside. It had some similarities to the church of Apostles but the Cathedral was bigger. Then we were off to the Governor's house It was really big and was filled with lots of paintings of former Kings and Queens. Next we where off to the art gallery. It was really cool to see all the art. A lot of the art was historical but there was also a heap of modern art there too. After that we walked back to the car. After a short drive we arrived at a small lake place where you could hire a row boat. We hired a row boat. It it was really fun. We got bogged a few times because it was pretty shallow.

Hey guys.

Today we went up to the Belair National park.
It was really cool because it had an adventure playground.
There were massive pipes that where berried in a mound. They were all connected together to make a really small maze. There was also a fort kind of thing. It was cool. The next part of the adventure playground was a normal playground. Lolz. After lunch at a near by picnic table we went for a 6 km walk. The walk was fun. There were some massive trees on the side of the path, they where American redwood trees. They can grow up to 100 meters and can grow 10 meters in width. Later on after the walk we drove back to the caravan and went for a swim. It was nice and refreshing in the 32 degree heat.
Thanks

Hey guys.

Today I went for an ultrasound on my toe and we went to Westlake shopping centre. First thing in the morning we went to the doctors to get ultrasound on my toe. They put gel on my toe, for the ultrasound, the gel felt really weird.
After that we went to the Westlake Shopping Mall. There was so much there. We had a look in some of the shops. It was pretty cool because they had a massive JB hi-fi which has so many games, movies, and manga anime. It was really cool.
When we got back to the caravan we did some school work and watched some movies. ^^.

Thanks

Here is a picture of me...in pain.

Hey guys.

Today we went to the Port Adelaide Maritime museum and the doctor :P.
The maritime museum was really cool because it had lots of things there, it even had a hole ship in there. That was really cool because you could go inside it. There was some really cool things there. There was a display on Bathing suits. It was interesting to see what people used to wear to the beach 100 years ago. After that I had to go to the doctor. I had an Xray on my foot :0. My toe is possibly fractured. Tomorrow I have to go and ultra sound on my foot. If you were wondering why, Andrew and I were play fighting, and he has a very hard shin :0.

I did maths and some computing stuff.

Hey guys.

Today we went to Goolwa, Port Elliot, And Victor Harbour. Its really hot here and there is gale force winds everywhere. Well almost everywhere. That spells trouble. At Goolwa there a massive paddle boat that goes on the Murray River. They where not going to run it today so we moved on to Port Elliot. There was a really cool lookout there where you could see up to Victor harbour from there. I've read the the first two Ranger's Apprentice books and now on number three. Hooray. Anyway we drove down to Victor Harbour and had a look at the whaling museum. It had some pretty nasty pictures of someone who has been mauled by a shark. You could see his guts !! After that we crossed the bridge to Granite Island. It was really windy when we got to the island. It was so windy you could lean over and the wind would keep you upright :D. We had lots of fun today and I hope it wont be as hot tomorrow :P.

Day 26: A Day at the Beach

Hey guys.

Today we went to the beach and the waterfront area at Glenelg. When we arrived there it was getting warmer. There was a place just next to the beach called the 'The Beach House'. It was really cool there because it had water slides, there we all sorts of arcade games, and a playground, it was really cool but it was really expensive.
We headed down to the beach to have a look. It was a really nice beach because the waves where really calm and it was pretty shallow. Andrew and I where trying to catch all the fish that swam about where we swimming.
We walked up to the shopping area and we found an EB Games store. So while Mum went to get some shoes; Andrew, Dad, and I went to go have a look. We were looking about the shop when Andrew found Fallout 3 on the shelf. I showed Dad and he noticed that it was $46 !!!!!!!!!! =D :) ^O^so we bought it, so now I have Fallout 3 !!!!!!! Anyway we had lots of fun and enjoyed the beach.
I have read the first 2 Rangers Apprentice books and now have bought the next 4 books.

Hey guys.

Today we went for a drive around the country, to the German Village, and a chocolate factory.
First we went up to a lookout at Mount Lofty. It was really cool because you could see the whole of Adelaide, it was amazing.
After that we went to the Mount lofty Botanical Gardens. We walked about 800 meters then decided it was too steep lolz, so we turned back to the car and drove to the German village 'Hahndorf''. It was amazing because it had lots of lolly shops and stuff. The one thing I was sad about is... THERE WAS NO PRETZEL SHOPS!!!!!!!!!!! But there was a place that sells legendary fudge.
Next we where off to the chocolate store. There where many different types of lollies and chocolates. The one thing that put me off, is that it was really over priced there.
Next we were off to the giant rocking horse. At the giant rocking horse there is a toy shop, it looked like little kids heaven in there. LOLz. We had lots of fun today.

Thanks

In town again

Hey guys.

Today we went into Adelaide to go to the zoo and the museum. The zoo was really cool because they had lions, pandas (the main attraction), giraffes, and many more animals from different countries:D. It was really cool and we had lots of fun there. The panda bears looked really stressed in there cages, most of the animals did. After we walked out from where the pandas were we saw a lady with animal skins on the bench, we all thought they were expired (dead) animals from around the zoo:0. Anyway we had lots of fun there and we got to see pandas close up for the first time. After that we went to the Adelaide museum. There where many cool things there like stuffed animals, meteors, gemstones and minerals, an Egypt exhibit, a Pacific Island exhibit, and much more. We arrived back at the caravan and I finished the first Ranges Apprentice and are now on my second one.

Thanks guys

Callum

Hey guys.
Today we went into to Adelaide to look around. We started at the botanic gardens and walked past a massive green house. It was Shrove Tuesday and we got some pancakes, they were really tasty. I saw a few gaming lounges all over the place. We found a games store and they were selling Fallout 3 for 70 bucks!! We get so ripped of in Tassie :P (every thing is more expensive.)
It was a really hot and we ran out of water really quickly.
Tomorrow we are going to the zoo and the museum. I am looking forward to it.

Thanks LOLz

Hey guys.

Today is moving day and we have left Naracoorte and are we are now in Adelaide.
The trip took a few hours, I didn't count them but I think it was about 3-4 hours.
The park is pretty big and has a swimming pool, which is not so big, there is also a tv room. I haven't been in the pool yet but Andrew has.
The forecast for the next few days are going to be very hot, and when I say hot I mean 37 degrees!!!! Anyway we are here for 10 days, and we are going to see as much as we can.

Thanks

Callum

Hey guys.

Today we went to the caves at Naracoorte Caves National Park, Which is a world heratige site. The caves were really cool. This picture is the reflection from the formations on the roof. We did three caves, we did the wet caves, Victoria fossil cave, The bat tour, and the Alexandra cave. In the bat tour they used infered cameras to look at all the bats, we got to see lots of bats and baby bats(pupps.) The caves were made from limestone, and there are shells and corral that fossilised, there were all over the cave.
When we got back we went for a swim and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.

Thanks

Callum

Hey guys.

Today is moving day. We drove for about 1 hour and a half to get to Naracoorte our next destination. We arrived to see that there was a massive pool out the back, I'm not joking but it was the size of all the aquatic centers swimming pools plus more into one swimming pool, it was insane:0. We spent a few hours there swimming in the biggest pool ever.
We are going to see some caves tomorrow and do adventure caving.

Thanks

Callum

Hey guys.
Today we went into town to see the cave gardens. The cave gardens is a hole in the ground, from a caved in cave, with plants and waterfalls put there to make it look nice. Then after that we went to Umpherston Sinkhole. Umpherston sink hole is a cave that has caved in and the roof is at the bottom, its the floor, anyway some people have made a garden in it and it is amazing to see all the plants in rows. There were little shells compressed into the limestone which looked really cool.
After that we went to Penola, which is were Mary Mackillop set up a school for poor rural kids. There was a lot of interesting things in the school house but the church (St Josephs) has changed. Next we went to the salt lake. The salt lake is really salty water, it has so much salt in it that nothing can live in there. The water is so dense with salt you can float in it like you are a feather in a breeze. I swam out to the pontoon out in the middle of the lake, it was fun but I had a feeling that something was in there.
We drove back to the caravan site and Andrew and I went for a play on the jumping pillow and at the playground it was fun. After we had had a play Dad Andrew and I went for a walk around brown lake. We started from the caravan and walked to the Centennial Tower which had a view over the city and over the lake the view was breath taking. We started a walk down the other side to go around the lake. We walked down the steps and on the way we saw a snake, It wasn't that big thought. Dad warned the other walkers about it. We walked all the way around back to the caravan and had a hot drink, it was nice and refreshing.

Thanks guys

Callum
Hey guys.

Today we went to the Blue Lake and did the Aquifer Tour. We went down an old well shaft in an elevator, There was a window on the side of it so you could see the well walls, it was really scary(I get nervous in elevators.) Then we walked around the lake.
We got back and did some school work, then we went to the Vally Lake and saw some of the wild life in a enclosed area, we saw kangaroos and all sorts of birds and wildlife there. Then we went back to the caravan and had dinner, watched two episodes of Futurama and now are writing our blogs. Today was a rainy day so we could not go out much.
I really enjoyed to tour, but didn't like the elevator that much:P.

FTW

Thanks

Callum

Hey guys.

Today we went to Portland. We went for a walk and saw the petrified forest. The petrified forest are trees that have preserved and turned into stone formations. We saw a few wind farms and one up very close. We saw the limestone caves and gannets (which are a type of bird), then went to the enchanted forest walk which ended at the end of the road. We had to walk on the road back to the car. Last but not least we went to a light house, again.
I have now started reading the second Artemus Fowl book^^, it is really cool.
Tomorrow we are going into South Australia!!!!!!! Up to Mount Gambier.
I am starting a wiki on Fallout 3, I'll give you the website url tomorrow if you guys wanna help.

Today we had great fun at the Flagstaff Hill maritime village. It was a little bit like Port Arthur but not a prison lol^^. Anyway we had lots of fun exploring the town and learning the history.
After that we went and had a look at a dormant volcano which we are going to walk up to in the morning. Port Fairy looks like it has some good fishing there :). Oh and guys I mostly write my blogs in the evening about 7-8 pm so that is a good time to look for stuff.

Hey guys.

Today we went to Airy's Inlet, were we walked up to the lighthouse and a few lookouts which you could see the sea for ages. After that we drove up to the Erskine falls. it was 312 steps down and another 312 steps back up again. It was really cool because we could see fish in the stream catching fly's and dragonfly's by jumping out of the water. It was lunch time so we headed up to teddy's lookout were we could see more of the sea and some of the Great Ocean road, it was an amazing view. After we had lunch Andrew was attacked by some jack jumpers but was not bitten ^_^. We got back and played our ipods and had coffee and something to eat^^.

Thanks, cya

Callum

Hey guys.
Today we had a rest day. We stayed in out beds and played our ipod's while it was raining.
It was still raining at lunch time so we went into town to do some window shopping.
As we were walking down the street there was a guy were it was obvious that we was stoned out of his mind(on drugs), he was hopping and skipping down the foot path flapping his arms in the air in the rain roflmao (roll on floor laughing my arse off.) Later when we got back we played a board game and had snacks, like anzacs and some coffee.
Oh and Logan have fun with mother ship zeta. Gl

Cya

This is a board game we played ^^

Hey guys.

Today we went to the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. We drove for 2 hours. Dad hit a duck and turned it into road kill:O, it was kind of nasty seeing the duck struggle to get up after it was hit by the car.
The Twelve Apostles are 12 great pillars sticking out of the ocean. These pillars are made by sea erosion, firstly there would be a sticky out bit, then the water would wash an arch underneath it, then the arch would collapse and would leave a pillar in the middle of the a beach.
After that we drove down to a bit down the road to see the Loch Ard Gorge, the blow whole, and the thunder cave. The thunder cave would make a booming sound when the water went in. The blow hole was a cave that went a few hundred meters from the sea and then a further hundred meters after the blow whole. The Loch Ard Gorge was were a ship that sank and many people died.
After that we drove back but were held up by a car crash and had to make an hour long detour through the forest:O

Hey guys.
Sorry that I haven't posted blogs for the last few days, it was because we had no internet at the caravan park.
Today is moving day. We drove from Hall's Gap to Lorne, which is on the Great Ocean Road. We drove for 5 hours to get here. We have great views of the cliffs and the Cumberland river, both next to our caravan ^^. So far we have walked on the beach set up the caravan and gone shopping.
The shopping centre was disgusting (Food Works), I don't even think the name deserves capital letters :o, anyway the place was disgusting and they were really expensive too, a lot of the food had mould growing on it :P and they were sealed, or were they ???? On the bright side we can do a lot of swimming. On the news there has been a suspected sightings of a panther or panthers living in the national park that is just near us :o.

Sorry I have to say this again but imm so exited, imma gunna get Fallout 3 and all 4 expansion packs !!!!!:):D. Cant wait :D

Cya around
